"Old School Love" - Diane
9:30 am. End of July.
It is already hot in Marseille. We are about to meet Diane in Endoume - in the Bar de La Relève, a genuine place where a couple of locals from the neighborhood are enjoying their breakfast. In a few hours, no more table would be available on the "terrasse". The place is not sophisticated but all Marseille knows it's worth it: homemade food, talented cooks, best in class staff. Simplicity is the keynote of all true elegance.
The night before was short and the rosé was cold but the Piaggio beat the traffic so we are ahead schedule. Double espressos, croissants and cigarettes will make the day work.
