It is the end of our photo shoot in Vallon des Auffes and now it is obvious: Anna is a real Marseillaise.
A few minutes ago, one could have been misled by her intimidating grace - enhanced by the light of the golden hour - but there is no more room for doubt.
Even more than her radiant smile that enlightens her face when the camera is down and her delightful accent, it is her warm fashion to accept the compliments from a group of admirative youngsters and the jokes from this old fisherman that tells it all. Previously impressed by her elegance, they are recognizing her as one of them now.
Anna moved to Marseille at the age of 3 and takes pride in her city - a city that never stops to show love to its children.
